“ Both burgers were very good. Onions straws were great. We went on a night when it wasn't very busy but still took some time to get our food. ”
“ Amazing flavors and selections of burgers. We made a stop after arriving in Dallas. Everyone in our party raved about the flavor and juiciness of the burgers. The southern western vibe was all we needed to kick off our trip. Can't wait to come back to the Twisted Root on our next visit. ”
“ Nice spot for a variety of burgers My burger was juicy and good. You can choose your own pickles as well. Service was great the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The place is big and rusty very good for large groups or solo diners. ”
“ The best burgers in town! They have a variety of options and charge cheaper than most for any add-ons. We dined-in during lunch and we got lucky before it began to flood with people. Their menus are available right when you enter and you typically have some time to look over the menu, just don't hold up the line. The last items we got were the All American Burger and the Classic along with an order of fries with their ranch. It was phenomenal! Their margaritas are giant which is worth the price. There are tons of booths/tables available if you would like to sit inside but they are pretty small if you go with a larger party. You do have to pay for parking as well unless you find another area and walk here. All in all, this is a must try! ”
“ Relaxed bar type vibe. I love the characters that are called when your food is ready. The staff was super helpful when deciding what to order and the food was great! The pickle bar is a nice touch and everything was very clean. ”
“ Haven't been able to visit TWB for some time. It was a mixed experience coming back. The burger as usual was very good. Got the All American. The patty and bun were excellent. Had them hold the cheese. The bacon was not crispy enough and was pretty poor quality with way too much fat. On the mobile order, like other places, you do not get the full range of order options. They did not pick up the phone, so I had to mobile order rather than phone it in. Despite mobile ordering, I had to wait what seemed like 15-20 min in the lunch rush line to get to the register to pick up my order because they do not have a mobile order pick up area or line. At least I did not have to wait the additional 20-30 min they were quoting ppl to get their burger after they already waited in line. At least my mobile order was ready and I could leave without waiting more. Finally, street parking used to be free some time ago, maybe a long time. Now all the streets are metered and there are two paid lots. Consequently, cost me $14 for the burger, another $6 to wait 15 min to pick up my food, for a total of about $20 for a burger without table service, since they don't have any and it was to go anyway. It was about average noise level on this visit, but it can get quite loud in the past when they are busy. Overall, TRB has a great burger and it's worth a try. Just expect to pay a lot and wait a long time , especially during the lunch rush. ”
“ I was so torn about giving a 4 star. I wish they offered a 3.5. We came to visit a friend in Dallas and wanted a burger so he recommended this place. Let me start with the atmosphere. Nice feel. No tables for more than 4 people so we pulled to round high tops near each other to which a server passing though said sharply "don't block our path". Duh. We weren't born yesterday. We ordered a classic burger with cheese and the fried ride. The burger was ok. Nothing spectacular. The onion was perfect. Not to hot. We enjoyed everything on the fried ride. They give you one tiny ranch and one tiny chipotle ranch for a huge plate of fried food. You pay for any extra ranch. The chocolate shake was soooo good!! The staff. No one was friendly. We didn't hear them call our name. We were Sabrina Duncan. A lady behind the counter rudely said "are yall Sabrina Duncan". Yes we are and it's loud in here plus we are visiting with our friend. Cool your jets sis. Ugh. Why can't people treat you they way they would want to be treated. Will we come back? Probably not. I can be talked to in an unkind way for free and the burger was not that great. ”
“ Burgers are 1/2 lb cooked medium well unless you indicate otherwise. The buns... this really made the burger. They were soft and buttery. I really liked the burger. * Big Tex Burger - Juicy and flavorful. The housemade guacamole and ranch were yummy. I would add tomato next time. * The Classic - Delicious and truly a classic. I would've liked maybe one more tomato slice, but I doused it in ketchup anyway. Sides and stuff: * Hand-Punched Fries are double fried but some were still a bit soggy. They were fresh, hand-cut potatoes. They were good. * The housemade pickles were AMAZING and crunchy. Bread & Butter was sweet and the perfect topping for my burger. Dill was a classic sour. * Hand-crafted soda was carbonated and crisp. I had the root beer. Environment: * The decor fun to look at. Moderate noise but still quiet enough for an initimate conversation or a place to hang out. I like how they use pop culture names to associate orders. * The bathrooms are gender-neutral and inclusive. Pretty clean as well. * The staff is friendly and willing to help. ”
